Pulling correctly...part 1
Even with this front view, you can see how the lifter has arched his back. The back must be locked in position at the start of either lift. By straightening his legs, with his back locked in this position, he will pull the bar correctly, not injure his back, probably not bump his shins, and the bar will arrive at his thighs right where it should be for the second pull, or "explosion." This is the start of a good lift!
